Black and white view of the Chartres Cathedral, viewed from the south side, with its two Gothic spires and central rose window, overlooking the city rooftops. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated April 16, 1927, addressed to Mr. Yvellette and Hinault in Hénin-Beaumont, with a 40-cent postage stamp and a Barbessé dispatch mark.
