View of the North Portal of the Cathedral of Chartres, showing its three large Gothic arcades and sculptures. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'My dear' in St-Maurice-sur-Moselle, dated August 28, 1920, sent from the Hotel Victoria in St-Maurice-sur-Moselle, with a 50 centimes stamp and a 40 centimes stamp, both canceled in St-Maurice-sur-Moselle.
