View of the South Portal of the Cathedral of Chartres, with its three large Gothic arcades and sculptures. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 29/12/1924 addressed to Madame Mahaut in Forgesères, with a 40-centime postage stamp and a cancellation from Chartres.
