Description

Black and white view of Reims Cathedral showing its Gothic portal and two towers, with period vehicles and construction materials in the foreground. On the reverse, an inscription in French and English reads 'CATHEDRAL of REIMS. Before the War', accompanied by a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Weiss in Paris and a 15 French franc postage stamp canceled in Passy-Gricny on August 2, 1938.
