Black and white view of a Seine overflow with powerful waves crashing onto a dam or quay, splashing water and mud. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Caudebec-en-Caux (S.-Inf.) to parents, dated 1947, with a 6 franc stamp and a postmark from Caudebec-en-Caux. The handwritten text indicates a return from a walk in Caudebec and an expectation to meet the next day in Cannes.
