View of the waterfall cascading over a bed of rocks, surrounded by dense forest. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Marguerite in Saint-Léger, with a 30-centime stamp and a postmark from the hotel on the lake of Gaube in Bar-sur-Loup. The publisher Jove is mentioned at the bottom of the reverse.
