Sepia-toned panoramic view of an alpine valley with a turbulent river, snow-capped mountains, and dense forest. On the reverse, a postcard dated August 14, 1936, sent from Cauterets to Faire (Hautes-Pyrénées), with a 40-centime stamp and handwritten address to Madame Élise Charme in Toulouse. The publisher is the Hotel des Pyrénées, located in Cauterets (alt. 2187 m).
