Description

View of the Romanesque facade of the Church of the Upper Town in Chalais, Charente, dated to the 12th century, with a carved portal and niches. The reverse has a handwritten inscription dated 1936, addressed to a recipient in Marcq-en-Barœul, with a postage stamp and cancellation.
