Description

View of the castle of Challes-les-Eaux, an ancient noble residence from the 14th century, with its stone keep and visitors in the courtyard. The reverse bears a handwritten letter addressed to 'my dear' and a 50 centime French Republic stamp canceled in Challes-les-Eaux on 10 July 1933.
