Description

Black and white view of the Town Hall of Châlons-sur-Marne, with its classical façade and dome, dominated by a monumental statue in the center of the square. To the left, the Gothic spires of Saint-Étienne Church rise. The reverse features a handwritten address to the Evaux family in Clamart, a 2.50 franc stamp of the French Republic, and a cancellation from Châlons-sur-Marne dated May 1st, 1940.
