Black and white view of the Marne at Chalons-sur-Marne, taken from the bridge, with buildings along the banks and dense vegetation. On the reverse, a 5-centime postmark from Chalons-sur-Marne dated April 12, 1906, and a handwritten address to Madame Bouillard in Lyon (Rhône).
