View of the northern facade of the Chambord Castle, with the Cosson River reflected in the background. Printed text at the top recalls that the river once surrounded the castle walls and that King Stanislas diverted the river and filled the moats. Reverse: green 5-centime stamp, postmark from Château de Chambord (Porte Dauphine) dated 18 December 1912, handwritten address to Madame St. Côme in Lorient, and text 'Today a souvenir'.
