Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Aiguille du Dru and the Montenvers Railway in Chamonix, with a train on a curve over a viaduct. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 1924, sent by a woman to her husband, describing their trip to Chamonix and their stay at the hotel. The postmark and cancellation are visible at the bottom right.
