Description

Black and white view of the village of Chamonix below glaciers and snow-capped peaks of Mont Blanc. Printed text at the bottom: '102. Chamonix and the Mt Blanc.' On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1954 sent to 'Chère Roselyne' by a correspondent describing a walk in Chamonix and the descent to the hotel de la Croix Blanche and Limond, with a mention of Madame Fortier. Postmark and cancellation visible.
