Description

Postcard depicting climbers on the Mer de Glace in front of the Aiguille du Dru, with a 5-centime French Republic stamp. On the reverse, a handwritten date of September 1, 1905, addressed to the Hôtel du Montanvert in Chamonix, with a postmark from Chamonix and a cancellation stamp.
