Panoramic view of the Chamonix glacier with the ice hat in the background, snow-capped mountains and a group of people near a tent. Reverse: postcard sent to Mr. E. Rognon in Fontainebleau, with a handwritten inscription describing a walk to the sea of ice and an upcoming meal. French 10-centime postage stamp and a cancellation mark from Chamonix.
