Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Mer de Glace glacier with the Montenvers Station at the bottom right, a train and a few people. On the reverse, printed text reads 'CHAMONIX-MONT-BLANC 3788 — Montenvers Station, Mer de Glace' and 'Éditions Giff'. Handwritten address to Madame Mad. Seigneur in Romainville, with an 8 franc stamp and a Chamonix-Mont-Blanc postmark dated 23 June 1953.
