Description

Panoramic view of the Mer de Glace glacier in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, observed from Montenvers, with snow-capped mountains in the background and a small structure in the foreground. On the reverse, handwritten text addressed to Madame Christiane de la Sallette in Marseille, with a 40-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation from Chamonix dated April 20, 1933.
