Black and white panoramic view of the Mer de Glace glacier at the foot of the Grand Jorasses, with snow-capped peaks in the background. Printed text at the bottom: 'G R 519. CHAMONIX-MONT-BLANC (Haute-Savoie) — The Mer de Glace'. Reverse: red 20-centime stamp, postmark from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc dated May 17, 1910, handwritten address to Massiulle (Bordeaux), and sender's signature T. Fauras.
