Postcard showing a crossing of the Mer de Glace in Chamonix, with several people equipped with walking sticks walking on the snow-covered glacier, in front of a majestic alpine landscape. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur Dufour in Chambéry, with a red stamp and a cancellation from Bertville dated 19 May 1908.
