Bronze statue of H.-B. de Saussure and a climber, erected in 1901 in Chamonix, facing an alpine landscape with the Mont-Blanc in the background. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Monsieur Poupouel Lege in Paris, a 5 centime postage stamp, and a postmark from Chamonix dated July 10, 1907.
