View of the commemorative monument in Champigny, erected in memory of victims of the Franco-Prussian War (1870-71), with a central obelisk, wrought-iron fence, and two cannons in position. The reverse indicates that this side is reserved for the address, with partial handwritten text and a mention of the publisher Verrina.
