View of the chapel gate of the Valmer Castle in Chançay, surrounded by ivy and adorned with a niche containing a statue. Back: handwritten message dated April 28, 1918, sent from Valmer, addressed to a 'dear Marguerite' by a 'dear friend' named J. Sokaz, with wishes for happiness and health. Postmark and cancellation from Valmer visible.
