Description

Carrara marble fountain with a diameter of 4 meters, presented in 1500 by the Venetians to Cardinal d'Amboise, minister of Louis XII, then transported in 1764 to the gardens of Liencourt. Reverse: green 5c stamp, postmark from Châtillon-sur-Loire (14-15-1911), recipient in Paris.
