View of the banks of the Marne in Charenton-le-Pont with several boats and dwellings along the shore. Handwritten text on the reverse: 'Chérie Chérie, thank you for your kind wishes, I send you mine as well as to your mother. I give you a big hug. Auguste. 31 December 1904'. Addressed to 'Madame E. Moynon, rue Saint-Antoine, La Bastille'. Two green stamps canceled at La Bastille (02) on 17 November 1904.
