Engraved portrait of Charles IX, the second son of Henri II and Catherine de Médicis, King of France from 1560 to 1574, dressed in richly adorned royal attire. The reverse indicates that this side is reserved for the address and features a space for writing, with a handwritten mark 'A' in the top left corner.
