Black and white view of the cloister of the Cordeliers Monastery in Charlieu, with towering trees and Gothic arches. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription 'Moiilleur Souvenir' and an address to Madame Bruguet in Nantes, accompanied by a 12 franc French Republic stamp postmarked in Charlieu.
