Engraved portrait of Charlotte Corday, young woman in a ribboned bonnet. Printed text below recounts her story: born in 1768, she assassinated Marat on 9 July 1793 in Paris, then was beheaded. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Collection d'Art & d'Histoire E. S. Paris' and features number 167 at the bottom right.
