Interior of Chartres Cathedral showing the Virgin of the Pillar, a statue adorned with an embroidered veil, framed by decorative columns and candles. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated October 5, 1920, addressed to a young lady in Austerlitz, with a postmark and stamp from Chartres post office.
