View of the new spire of the Chartres Cathedral, with printed text describing its history: construction began after the fire of 1134, interrupted and resumed after the fire of 1104, completed in 1513, with the spire placed in 1601 and the bronze cross in 1854. Reverse: blank postcard with correspondence lines and watermark.
