View of La Porte Guillaume in Chartres, built in the 8th century, with the cathedral in the background. The printed text mentions its origin on the old tower and its fire in 1856. On the back, a handwritten letter dated May 8, 1929, addressed to Mr. Figuière in Pauillac, with a blue stamp and a Chartres postmark.
