Postcard showing the Gothic staircase of Queen Berthe in Chartres, integrated into a timber-framed building with a conical-roofed tower. Printed text describes its origin as part of a hotel of the Counts' castle. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Stieber in Mézières, dated June 23, 1929, and signature of the sender Marguerid.
