View of Queen Berthe's Staircase in Chartres, a Gothic staircase with ornate spiral columns on the exterior walls, ending in a grotesque lamp base surmounted by a statue. The reverse features a handwritten address to M. Pauvriels in Bouligny, a 5-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation stamp from Chartres dated June 13, 1906.
