Interior view of Chartres Cathedral, showing the dégombulatoire with its Gothic vaults and sculpted statues. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated September 14, 1930, addressed to Melle Thylia Brandore in Villeneuve-les-Deux-Églises, expressing joy at receiving the postcard and mentioning the health of the sender's mother.
