Black and white view of Chartres Cathedral, highlighting its two Gothic towers and its large central rose window. On the reverse, the publisher indicates 'POSTCARD TO BE USED ONLY IN THE INTERNAL SERVICE (France, Algeria, Tunisia)' and the correspondence is addressed to Madame Toppollon in Paris. A green 5-centime stamp is affixed with a cancellation from Châlons-sur-Marne dated May 6, 1918.
