Monumental marble statue of the Assumption of the Virgin, surrounded by angels, in the cathedral of Chartres. Printed text at the bottom: '34 CHARTRES. — The Cathedral. — The High Altar. — LL.'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence to Madame Wagner in Paris, addressed to Saint-Évroult, with a red 'POSTES FRANÇAISES' postmark obliterated 'CHARTRES 16-9-1901'.
