View of the North Portal of Chartres Cathedral, with its three pointed arches and sculptures, under a clear sky. The back has handwritten text dated February 28, 1938, addressed to 'Monsieur André', mentioning family memories and a question about a 'father' at Saint-Martin Abbey. A postmark is affixed at the top right.
