View of the old flax market in Chartres, showing a stone-arched passage with a niche statue above, leading to a Gothic church. The reverse has a handwritten address to Mr. and Mrs. Malenicaux in La Ferté-Loupière, with a postmark from Chartres dated August 8, 1903.
