View of the Gothic cloister in Chartriers with its pointed arch vaults and sculpted column capitals. Printed text at the bottom: 'CHARTRIERS. — The Cloister of Loens.' and signature 'ND Phot.'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated August 30, 1908, addressed to Madame Héron, sent to Saint-Pair, Manche, with a postal stamp from Dairé.
