Commemorative monument in Chartres dedicated to the children of Eure-et-Loir who died for the fatherland during the war of 1870-71, with a central inscription and soldier statues at the ends. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated October 6, 1899, sent from Alençon to Deauville, with a postmark from Alençon (Seine-et-Orne).
