Panoramic view of Chartres with the cathedral, the Eure canal, and historic buildings. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated January 13, 1912, addressed to Mr. Fischer in Paris, with a 10-centime red stamp and a postmark from Chartres dated January 14, 1912.
