Black and white view of the Grands Prés in Chartres, with a pond bordered by trees and a small bridge in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Sélecount in Rainsy, with a 50 cent postage stamp and a postmark from Chartres dated 12-9-1912.
