Panoramic view of a village bordered by a watercourse, with a timber-framed house and slate roofs in the foreground. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated 8 September 1948, sent to Madame Lefèvre in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, with a 6-franc stamp and a cancellation from Vaux-le-Pénil.
