View of the Town Hall in Châteauroux, a classical-style building with a clock face above the pediment and the inscription 'République Française' and 'Liberté Égalité Fraternité' at ground level. On the reverse, handwritten address to Monsieur le Martel in Boubogne, at Sceaux-Inférieure, with a mention of the date 12 June 1908 and a green 10-centime postage stamp canceled in Châteauroux.
