Description

View of a tiled-roof castle with shuttered windows, surrounded by bare trees. A surrounding wall at the bottom of the image bears the inscription 'CHÂTEAU DAFFICHER' with an arrow. The reverse shows a postcard sent from Sevres (postmark of 17 February 1944), with two 5-centime stamps and handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Leconte in Tremble. The handwriting mentions a photograph and a 'rest home'.
