Black and white view of the citadel of Château d'Oleron, showing its stone fortifications and a path lined with trees. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to M. Peyroche in Cernay, Vienne, with signature of J. Ametra. Green 5-centime stamp with the cancellation 'ROUAS'.
