View of Anet Castle in 1900, showing the Gate of Charles-le-Mauvais, built in 1340 by the King of Navarre. The printed text recalls that the fortress castle was destroyed, leaving only this gate. The reverse contains a handwritten letter addressed to a 'dear friend' and a handwritten address.
