View of the Chaumont Castle with its conical towers and entrance, under a clear sky and a large bare tree. The reverse features handwritten correspondence dated June 29, 1918, addressed to 'Mademoiselle' in Chambret, with a mention of 'Lapuierre' and 'Toujours à Paris'.
