Description

View of Chenonceaux Castle with its Grand Gallery on the Cher, dated around 1900. Printed text at the bottom of the front relates the history of the castle: begun in the 15th century by Bobier, given to François I in 1535, then sold to an American, Mr. Terry. The reverse indicates that foreign correspondence cannot be sent on the front and contains lines for the address and correspondence.
