Drawing room of the Château de Cheverny with ornate fireplace, panelled walls and round table. Printed text at the bottom: 'CHATEAU DE CHEVERNY. — The Drawing Room'. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame M. Valignat in Compiegne, 5 centimes stamp, postmark from Compiegne (Loire-et-Cher) dated 22 April 1903.
